Eric Iverson

Eric sings lead on Words Become Our World, and plays drums on most Gratitude album tracks.  With Stacey, he wrote the music for Words Become Our World, as well as Big Bear Hugs, Laser Beam Love, and The Night We Met.   He appears in the Silver Girl music video filmed in Scotland, and the music video for Happy to Be.

A native of Santa Barbara, California, Eric’s musical history dates to childhood, when he was influenced by the music of Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Jimmy Cliff, Bob Marley, and The Police.  His parents bought him an electronic drum kit, and by 6th grade he’d already formed several garage bands.  By high school he’d landed an airplay on local radio.  He furthered his skills as a music theory and vocal major at Cabrillo College in Santa Cruz, and formed the reggae band Soul Majestic, which went on to record several albums and tour North America.  Eric and his wife Oriana also have a duo project called OnE.  When not playing music, volleyball or surfing, Eric enjoys time with his wife, boys, and dogs in Santa Barbara.
