Brian Scheuble recorded Vanaka’s songs at the Ferguson’s 1010 Studios with the help of J.R. Richards and Jon Payne, and he mixed the “Gratitude” album at NRG recording studio in North Hollywood, CA.
At a young age, Brian moved from the Midwest to Hollywood to begin his audio career at Cherokee Studios. After six years, he transferred to the famous A&M Studios for 7 years. Then Brian went freelance, working with a wide variety of artists, from the punk music of X and the jazz music of Wayne Shorter and Herbie Hancock, to mixing tracks for movies including Yes Man with Jim Carey. Brian’s musical credits boast Sheryl Crow, Dishwalla, Death Cab for Cutie, Stone Temple Pilots, Dave Matthews, Jason Mraz, John Mayer, Trent Reznor, Leann Rimes, A Fine Frenzy, Brett Dennen, Aimee Mann, Don Henley, Stevie Nicks, Barbara Streisand, Madi Diaz, Wallflowers, Elton John, Minyx, Ice Cube, Ringo Starr, Five For Fighting – and now Vanaka!
While schooled in the days of audio tape and LPs, Brian positively enjoys the computer age and integrates analog techniques with the digital age to deliver a creative and unique recording & mixing style. While not recording or mixing, he enjoys time with his son Charlie.
